Spotted Clarkii Ghost, which has uniquely colored spotted pattarns, has a potential to be developed as a pet. This species are also called "Thailand Ghost" in Japan.
Like Nishikigoi (Koi) and Kingyo (Goldfish) were developed as pets from a wild carp and a wild crucian respectively, Clarkii Ghost might well be developed as a pet creature in the future.
Not only patterns and their color but also chapes may be modified to what we cannot imagine 100 years later, like Rancyu (Round Fish) and Ryukin have been developed from crucians.
